AFSCME Higher Education United is a movement of workers at higher education institutions - from researchers, administrative and student support staff to faculty, operations, safety staff and more - fighting for better working conditions, service quality, dignity and respect at our institutions of higher learning. 

We are over 130,000 members strong in over 30 states and the District of Columbia. AFSCME Higher Education United unions have collectively negotiated over 225 collective bargaining agreements.
